Chicago Segway Tours has a strict policy against alcohol consumption and Segway operation. Alcohol is forbidden on all Segway tours and any client suspected of drinking before or during a Segway tour will immediately forfeit their tour and no refund will be given.
Women who suspect they may be pregnant or are pregnant are not permitted to ride on our tours, due to the risk to both mother and child.
Riders must be capable of standing for extended periods of time.
All participants must be able to ascend a flight of stairs without assistance. Those ones who can not, will not be permitted to participated on our Chicago sightseeing tours.
Your safety is always our highest priority and we begin each tour with a thorough orientation of the Segway and its use before departing our store. It usually takes thirty minutes and its a part of the actual duration of the tour. We provide ample of time for practicing on your Segway before the tour departs.
We have hands on training! We train every one individually, one to one, on the spot and we do NOT use training video like our competitors do. We provide certified fun !
A Segway should NOT be operated if you have conditions, which may cause you to become disoriented, faint or have motion sickness and seizures. Any person with health restrictions, seizure disorders, motion sickness, intolerance or sensitivity to extreme heat and sun, or persons who have had recent prosthetic surgery should not participate in this activity.

I hereby relinquish any information in regards to my personal health. If I have any health conditions it is my (rider’s) responsibility to mention and bring to the attention of Chicago Segway Tour employee – tour guide’ before tour commencement or services are rendered
Our Tours have approximately duration 2:30 hours, including the training session. Sometimes we may finish earlier than the expected time because we do not run into traffic and because the group might be smaller than the normal sizes. In this case there is no refund and we are not obligated to stay outside as far as we covered our route.
All riders in order to be able to participate on our Segway tours must have with them a valid ID and credit card, No debit cards (which we hold onto them, until you return back for safety reasons) otherwise you will not be able to participate on our Chicago Segway tours. All sales are finals. Our prices do not include the City of Chicago amusement fee. There is two dollars processing fee per rider. Our fleet is consisted from i2 and x2 off road Segway models.
All the reservations made over the phone within 24hours before the Segway Tour departure are considered final.
We recommend flat shoes; rocking athletic shoes are prohibited, as are high heels.
We do stop for photo opportunities along the route. For your safety and the safety of others, still cameras and video cameras are allowed, but are NOT allowed to be used while the Segway is moving, as it is necessary to have two hands on the machine the Segway for safety reasons.
If special events, parades, festivals, athletic events or construction are in our area the Segway / Bike tour route will be altered without notice. We will make every effort to minimize disruptions to our tours caused by third-parties. We are not responsible for any loss associated with events out of our immediate control.
Check your Confirmation for Correct Date and Time
It is your responsibility to be at the designated tour location on the correct date. Please check your confirmation carefully. No refund for no-shows.
Please be on time for all scheduled tours. Print your E-ticket and bring it with you. Anyone who is late will not be able to participate on our tour/s for safety reasons. If that person wishes to proceed on a tour, we offer private tours starting at $99 per person.

Photographs Taken on Tour: I understand that photographs may be taken by Chicago Segway Tours while on tour and that these photos will may be distributed in an electronic digital copy to all tour participants through the Chicago Segway Tour Facebook photo album posted every week on the Chicago Segway Tour Facebook account. I understand that all photographs taken during the Segway tour remain as a property of CST and may be used in promotional and advertising materials of the company. I further agree to keep CST and its employees harmless for using my photos.
